This was a very busy week at the TDC starting off Tuesday with a great speech and panel discussion featuring world-famous designer, writer, and teacher, Paula Scher. Many of you may have seen the episode of Netflix's Designing Design featuring Paula.

Paula spoke about many topics concerning surviving endless layers of corporate BS and what it was like to get a project across the goal line.
Paula has an amazing book, Make It Bigger, in which she details what goes on inside the big ad agencies and record companies and inside the male-dominated psyche of high-level VPs, presidents, reps, creative directors, art directors, assistant art directors... heart-stopping, bone-chilling deadlines (seriously, I was starting to get a panic attack by page 5).
I think it's a wonderful read not just for graphic designers, but also fine artists, musicians, and anyone who was born to 'create things'.
